Hon. Jared Opiyo appointed SonySugar Board Chair

Via a gazette notice of April 14th, 2023, His Excellency The President Dr. William Samoei Ruto, appointed Hon. Jared Odhiambo Opiyo to serve as the SonySugar Board chair for three years. Hon Kopiyo who served in the previous SonySugar board as a member also proceeded to chair Migori County Public Service Board. He is also a former member of parliament for Awendo Constituency in which the company is situated. Hon. Opiyo served as MP from 2013 to 2017.  The board members also appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Hon. Mithika Linturi for the same period are: Erick Osenya, Mary Akoth Were, Laura Abishag Matiko, Kipkoech Kirui, John Billy Momanyi and Douglas
