Communication From The Managing Director To Stakeholders On The Ongoing Factory Mini Maintenance

We were compelled to shut down the factory for a two-week Mini Maintenance with effect from December 3, 2024. This abrupt stoppage was necessitated by the recurrent breakdowns in several sections of the plant, thus undermining meaningful milling. As a result the Company was incurring huge loses attributed to the plant’s fatigued condition. It became increasingly challenging for us to meet critical obligations.

The ongoing exercise is, in the short term, addressing some of the weakest areas to enable the plant sustain milling until April/May 2025 when we intend to embark on a comprehensive Annual Plant Maintenance (APM).

In the meantime, we understand the impact of the inevitable stoppage on our business and that of our clientele. However, we appeal to all the stakeholders to remain patient with us as we wind up the exercise.

Management really appreciate the unwavering support that the stakeholders have accorded us over the years, and undertake to reciprocate the same by upscaling our operations upon resumption.
